Instead of focusing on “what” you’re writing, this class focuses on the “how.” We will be taking a practical approach to creating sustainable habits when it comes to writing, researching, reading, and revising. This class is not preachy or didactic: instead we are going to search for the parts of the process that work or that can get easier for you, personally. This is for writers of any level who want to work on making their writing life part of their “normal” instead of being relegated to “extra.”
NO SET MEETING TIME: This workshop will take place over Wet Ink, which is an asynchronous creative writing platform. The instructor will post a lesson and assignment at the beginning of each week, and participants can log in and read the lessons/post assignments/comment on other classmates’ work at their convenience. Shortly before the start date, participants will receive an invite from Wet Ink to create their login info and access the class. Please check your spam if you don’t see it.
