The childhood friend that you don’t talk to anymore. The college friend who betrayed you. The ride-or-die squad that grew apart. Partners in crime. These are our friendships and frenemies, sisters and saviors. The women in our lives serve as teachers, each with unique lessons to offer. Through writing exercises and personal storytelling, this workshop will highlight the complex emotional bonds between women and the stories that reveal them. You will learn an idea-generating process that identifies key memories and themes, write stories that require personal truth and vulnerability, and explore ways to leverage these stories in life, art and work. This workshop is for anyone who identifies as a woman.
