The aim of this workshop is to leave with a viable draft of your first poetry book manuscript. You’ll understand the difference between a chapbook and a full-length collection, organizing and segmenting work for cohesiveness, as well as strategies for submitting for publication. After the first session, we’ll read and review manuscripts as a group, consider what each manuscript has to teach us, and offer feedback to strengthen structure and flow. Note: No meeting on November 27.
