After a few introductory words about what constitutes a poem and the things that often inspire one, you can jump right into the creative process using helpful exercises and prompts. Your every attempt will be greeted with support and applause from the other workshoppers joining you. This is a can’t-fail experience, with tried and true tips. You’ll leave with a finished poem and the fun you had writing it. Bring your favorite writing instruments. If you have a poem you love, bring that too.
