Let It Be Said, a spoken word project features writer Miesha Lowery, performers/narrators Jada Lane, Mohammad Rohaizad Suaidi, clarinetist Katherine Repka and vibraphonist Michael Barranco. Hosted by Baltimore Composers Forum.
From the writer’s pen: “Let It Be Said is a mixed bag of ingredients, a sprinkle of mundane, a tablespoon of thoughtfulness, a dash of wisdom, a teaspoon of love, and a quarter of a cup of the daily grind. I created a realistic short story broken up into spoken words, and the Baltimore Composers Forum brought it to life from their inspiration. Let It Be Said is the epitome of fleeting thoughts, moments, and whispered feelings.”
As part of our 30th anniversary season, this project will be continuing its tour with two performances at Le Mondo in Baltimore, on February 25.
