How do you research and hone an idea well enough to get through the static to national publication? Successful writers share their queries and the negotiations that led to publication in Bloomberg Businessweek, AARP, Pacific Standard, NYT Sunday Business, etc. Participants will look at both the pitches and the resulting articles and learn how each writer approached the market and the writer’s experience with the editor.
