Come and explore different ways to write about your grief in safe and creative ways. Our prompts will include hermit crab writing, which can feel healing and strengthening while taking your writing into surprising directions. We’ll explore ways into grief stories and also ways to finish them, which can feel hard when grief is ongoing. This session will be led by Diane Zinna, a longtime creative writing teacher who has been teaching grief writing throughout the pandemic. She is the author of The All-Night Sun, a novel about grief, the transformative nature of friendship, and life after loss.
