Learn how to write screenplays and teleplays to start a career as a screenwriter! Classes will cover the fundamental screenplay format, act structures, characters, plot, dialogue, exposition, scene descriptions, building conflict/tension, outlining, representation, marketing, and networking. At the end of the class, you will have the opportunity to complete an entire screenplay for a feature or short film, or a pilot episode of a series to be workshopped in class, and also get a complete script coverage on the piece. Note: No meeting May 31 and July 5.
