Keep your readers glued to the page!
Master the skills of scene building and learn how to avoid weak story segments that result in bland and uninspiring stories. The building blocks of any short story, novel, memoir, or work of creative nonfiction are scenes. Each one has its own beginning, middle, and end and moves readers another step toward the plot’s resolution. Elements discussed in this fast-paced, half-day class will include perspective, setting, emotion, action, dialogue, and exposition—as well as the most effective types of scene openings and endings.
