Surprise yourself!
Improvisation forces you directly into the action and heart of the piece. Allow your creative genius to ‘script’ in the moment, in a judgment-free zone. Surprise yourself! We will all learn basic improv techniques as it pertains to all genres of writing. We will experience taking physical and verbal prompts to spark memories, characters, and places, turning them into poems, scenes, and stories. During ‘UnClogging’ you will likely come up with an ‘idea’ that you feel compelled to expand on, or perhaps be re-inspired to continue work ‘in progress.’ Either way, you will have gained new perspective and confidence! Participants should dress comfortably for movement.
