DESCRIPTION:Podcasts are a powerful way to get your book and voice out there\, and grow your audience.\nIn this workshop\, you’ll learn how to craft a winning podcast pitch\, get booked on the right shows\, and be an engaging guest. Work with any publicist and they’ll tell you\, “Want to get your book and your voice out there? Pay attention to podcasts!” In this workshop we’ll focus on how to prepare your pitch materials\, how to get booked on podcasts\, how to be a great guest\, and even how to create a professional podcasting environment. \n\nLive video conference: This workshop will be held via our online video conferencing platform\, Zoom. You can view brief tutorials on using the platform here. On the start date or the day before\, participants will receive an email with login info (please check your spam if you don’t see it). \n\nIn this workshop you’ll learn:\n\nWays to get booked on podcast both on your own and with agencies.\nHow to create podcast prep and pitch sheets for podcast bookings.\nHow to make your podcast performance your best performance!\nHow to create your own\, miniature podcast studio to look and sound your best including equipment and where to find it.\n\nTime requirements\n\nN/A\n\nMaterials\n\nAll reading materials will be provided.\n\nWho should take this workshop?\n\nThis workshop is designed for anyone who is looking for a new challenge\, and who wants to get their book\, their voice\, and their content out to the general public.\n\n\nIf you need an accommodation for this workshop\, please contact us at access@writer.org.
