SUMMARY:Letting Your Characters Talk: Dialogue Intensive
DESCRIPTION:Take your dialogue to the next level with this online three-week intensive course. Good dialogue does not mimic regular speech. It brings rhythm to the page\, characterizes\, sets the scene\, advances plot\, and creates immediacy in your storytelling. Over the three weeks\, you’ll learn the mechanics of what makes dialogue flow on the page and how to make your characters sound natural or realistic. We’ll do this by studying novel excerpts\, scripts\, and craft books. By the end of the course\, you’ll be able to apply new techniques that improve the dialogue in your own fiction.
