D. M. Cross

« All Events

D. M. Cross is a writer, playwright, actress, announcer, cosplayer, panelist, seamstress, critic and teacher. Her play, Madam, was produced by the Helen Hayes Gallery at the National Theater to a Standing Room Only audience; and her play, Black Roses, was produced by Young Audiences of Washington, DC.

Last year she author-published her novella, A Long Way From Home. Her short story, Dance With Me was published in both the Kinsman Quarterly Iridescence Anthology and the Creatures, Crimes and Creativity Anthology, 2024. Another short story, The Curist, received Honorable Mentions from both the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future and the Baltimore Science Fiction Amateur Writing contests.

Her current projects include the screenplay version of A Long Way From Home and Ebony Images: The African American Experience in Film which will combine her love of film and history.
