APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MARCH 29, 2023!
Create 10-15 new poems and submit your work for publication!
In this intensive, generative workshop, students will read, draft, and discuss prose poetry with the goal of improving their craft. Each week, students will read sample prose poems from established prose poetry masters, draft their own work using the instructor’s prompts, and submit one prose poem for feedback to the instructor. Each student will leave this intensive workshop with 10-15 new prose poem drafts and at least 5 revised pieces. Additionally, we will take a look at literary magazines, submissions, the poetry business, as well as leave time for open discussion.
Virtual Info Session for Poetry Intensive: From Drafting to Submitting Prose Poems
