This year The Writer’s Center turns 50!

No writer succeeds alone. For fifty years, The Writer’s Center has been a place where writers gather, learn, revise, encourage, and inspire one another. This anniversary celebrates the relationships that make writing possible.

For three hours, we’ll look back on our history with a building-wide scavenger hunt and a reading from each decade of the organization and the current Compass Fellow and Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellow, Xochi Quetzali Cartland.

With a buffet, books, and booze, we’ll reminisce on the community that made possible our past fifty years.

A silent auction and prizes will be abound for what is sure to be a celebration for the ages.
