Ready to get more active as a writer and deepen your involvement in the DMV’s literary community?
Writers of all genres can expand their circles in a variety of ways—from sharing their work with others to volunteering for literary events and organizations, to attending a writing conference. Learn what’s out there and build your confidence to get out there and expand your writing life! Join us to discover the wide range of options and opportunities you have as a writer to share your work, get involved, and connect with other writers. The class will focus on specific opportunities in the DC/MD/VA area.
In-person class: This workshop will take place at The Writer’s Center, 4508 Walsh St, Bethesda MD.
In this workshop you’ll learn:
- The range of opportunities for writers in the DMV
- The benefits and requirements (if any) for you to join in
- Which activities you’re ready to explore to expand your writing life
Time requirements
- No additional time required outside of class.
Materials
- All reading materials will be provided.

- This class is designed for writers of all levels and genres who are ready to learn about the abundance of writerly stuff in the DMV
