About the Event
In this reading featuring ten graduate students of the American University MFA Program in Creative Writing, a selection of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction will map the experiences of exile that sometimes foist upon our human psyche a vision of the totality. As members of AU’s craft course, LIT 711, “Creativity and Exile,” these writers will share work that was the result of the inquiry around brokenness and the creative urge to repair, understand, and make whole again.
If you need an accommodation for this event, please contact us at access@writer.org. We will attempt to fulfill all requests, but advance notice is necessary to arrange for some accessibility services.
