This generative workshop will help you brainstorm a heist story, explore how heists immerse the audience, and work out ways to up the stakes.
Live video conference: This workshop will be held via our online video conferencing platform, Zoom. You can view brief tutorials on using the platform here. On the start date or the day before, participants will receive an email with login info (please check your spam if you don’t see it).
In this workshop you’ll learn:
- The top characteristics most heist stories share
- How to immerse your audience in the story
- Maximizing the elements of surprise
- Establishing each character’s wants and needs
Time requirements
- Optional reading in advance; work as needed to bring heists to share for second class.
