The workshop will allow participants to write non-fiction works in different formats and lengths, from first-person writing to essays and magazine-style pieces.
In-person class: This workshop will take place at The Writer’s Center, 4508 Walsh St, Bethesda MD.
In this workshop you’ll learn how to:
- Write with power and clarity.
- Tell a narrative story.
- Identity characters to drive the story.
- Develop and eye for color and detail.
- Connect with the reader.
Time Requirements
- 30 minutes a week of outside reading and writing.

- All reading materials will be provided.
Who should take this workshop?
- This course is designed for people who have some experience in non-fiction writing and are aiming to hone and expand their skills.
