Submit your Work for a Cause!
Each autumn, thousands of lit mags and journals open their portals/queues/websites to read your work. We know that submitting on your own can be a slog, so let’s get it done, together!

The Writer’s Center is hosting our first ever Submit-o-thon, a marathon-like afternoon where you commit to submitting your work for 4 hours, and enlist your friends and family to support you along the way!
The donations you raise will help pay for
- Our public programming (including readings, panels, and craft chats)
- Bi-monthly open mics
- Quarterly mixers
- Creative writing workshops
- Scholarships
- And more!
As a fundraiser, you’ll receive a one month free subscription of Chill Subs and an optional 30 minute submission crash course on best tips for submitting!
You’ll spend your time submitting to a minimum of 20 literary journals and magazines to get your work out there!
In return for you hard work, we will have prizes like mugs, gift certificates, and more!
Once you’ve registered, you will receive an email with a personal fundraising page to send to your loved ones.
