Being a successful writer is about more than getting published.

Writing is a fulfilling journey with pleasures and pitfalls. In this workshop you’ll write a Writers Mission Statement and outline your writing “Wildest Dream.” We’ll tackle the tough rarely-discussed issues of creativity, competition, finding your unique voice, success, community and getting paid. Please bring something to take notes on.

In-person class: This workshop will take place at The Writer’s Center, 4508 Walsh St, Bethesda MD.

In this workshop you’ll:

• Outline and create a mission statement for your work
• Define and describe your “Wildest Dream” writing project that can take you to the next level in your work
• Leave with tools to rejuvenate and sustain your writing life

Time requirements

• No time required outside of class.
