The Writer’s Center welcomes DC-ALT, Vocales Verticales, and Tintas DC to celebrate Venezuelan Poetry.
Poetry is a force for healing. We’ll be joined by Venezuelan, Latine and U.S. based poets, translators, and writers who will come together to read Venezuelan poetry in both Spanish and English—celebrating the power of poetry to connect us, hold memory, and help us heal. The event will also raise awareness about the earthquakes in Venezuela, ongoing relief efforts, and ways you can support communities affected by the disaster.
FREE & open to the public. RSVP below.
