With so many viable options for publishing, how do you know which one is right for you and your book? In this class, participants will explore the wide range of publishing options and evaluate their pros and cons. Participants will also assess their own strengths and weaknesses, and the particulars of their book, to determine which path will lead to their greatest success. By the end of this class, participants will be primed to start their publishing journey. Attendees should bring a laptop or tablet so they can begin exploring key websites.

Katherine Pickett is the owner of POP Editorial Services LLC (www.popediting.net), where she provides copy editing, proofreading, and developmental editing to authors and publishers across the country. She is also the author of the award-winning book Perfect Bound: How to Navigate the Book Publishing Process Like a Pro, the booklet Freelancing as a Business: 7 Steps to Take Before Launch Day, and several ebooks.
