This generative poetry workshop will focus on writing about grief and loss.
Grief and loss are topics often written about in poetry. In this workshop we’ll read poems about loss and use them as prompts to write our own poems about the people/things/places/ideas we’ve lost or are grieving. Expect to write 2-4 new drafts of poems.
In-person class: This workshop will take place at The Writer’s Center, 4508 Walsh St, Bethesda MD.
In this workshop you’ll:
- Learn new ways of writing about loss and grief
- Write 2-4 new drafts of poems
Time requirements
- No time required outside of class.

- All reading materials will be provided.
