Learn to write irony effectively.
Irony and satire are the art of saying something without saying something. To understand irony and satire, we must understand why and how readers intuit particular meanings from our words. In this lecture, you will learn the specific history that gave rise to our modern understanding of satire and irony, how history informs the mechanics of satire and irony, and how these mechanics when implemented can produce incisive writing.
