Ready to write that novel or memoir? Or have you started a large writing project and need some sound advice and a clear path forward? With a bit of planning, reasonable goals, well-timed support, and a wider lens you can see your large writing project over the finish line. This class is for writers who are ready to turn their Idea into Action and for those who have started writing but are feeling a bit overwhelmed and could use some guidance and inspiration. This class will provide you with a lot of information and tips to get on and stay on the right track.
Live video conference: This workshop will be held via our online video conferencing platform, Zoom. You can view brief tutorials on using the platform here. On the start date or the day before, participants will receive an email with login info (please check your spam if you don’t see it).
In this workshop you’ll learn how to:
- Make space and time for your writing project
- Create and keep a positive mindset
- Avoid common potholes (inner critics, inefficient plans, getting ahead of yourself, etc.)
- Balance research and writing
- Build your skills and get help when/where you need it
- Understand how YOU work best so you can create a successful road ma

Who should take this workshop?
- Writers who’ve started writing the first draft of a novel or memoir (1-75 pages). Writers who’ve had an idea for a novel or memoir for a while and are ready to get in action! Writers of essays, stories, poems who are looking to write a bigger project next.
