Carol Mitchell

Carol Mitchell is the author of the novel What Start Bad a Mornin’  (Central Avenue) and nineteen books for children, including three published by HarperCollins UK. She holds an MFA, and is the recipient of a number of fellowships including from the Virginia Center for Creative Arts and Kimmel Harding Nelson Center. She teaches writing at George Mason University and is currently working on a short-story collection and a novel.
